Making Good Happen For Veterans

Our program is designed to assist Imperial Valley Military Veterans with job training and placement services. In addition to getting veterans jobs, Goodwill helps with the successful transition from military to civilian life through individualized plans that include the individual’s goals, family goals and long-term financial stability.  All veteran services are provided free of charge.

Goodwill Imperial County is proud to provide employment programs and services for our military in our Community Employment Center opening soon.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Program participants must be a veteran of the United States Military. Participants must also be able to meet the essential functions of the program/job with or without reasonable accommodations and work in the United States legally.

EACH INDIVIDUAL PARTICIPANT IS PROVIDED THE FOLLOWING SERVICES:

• Career assessment
• Individualized development plan
• Assistance with basic needs (nutrition and shelter)
• Job training
• Family support and job placement assistance
